Job leveling creates transparency and a fair internal job hierarchy that simultaneously reflects business needs. However, many organizations are struggling to figure out how to implement a job leveling framework in a meaningful way without creating unwanted bureaucracy. When used correctly, job leveling paves the way for clear career paths, enhanced company culture, and more transparent organizations. The growing debate about fair pay and the associated legislative environment is also calling for a clearer and more consistent approach to job leveling and rewards.
Our webinar opened up the discussion around the value of having transparent career paths in the organization, helping candidates and employees understand exactly what’s expected of them in a particular role, how they fit into an organization, what they need to do in order to get a promotion and how work is rewarded. We examined questions such as the following:
- How do we ensure transparency around what is expected of individuals in the organizations, and how do we promote and reward people in a fair way?
- What frameworks and practices might help and be beneficial for companies to implement and be inspired by?
- What are some best practices we can learn from?
The webinar is moderated by Session’s CEO Pernille Hippe Brun, and she is joined by a Panel of Experts within the field of HR, Job Leveling and Total Rewards:
